For the last three or four years, I could see the gradual changes taking place in my 48-year old face. The slight fat deposits along my jaw line and the sagging underneath my chin made it appear that I was gaining weight-on my face! And the creases that were beginning to form from my nose to my lips made my mouth look sad, almost like an upside-down smile. To make matters worse, when I applied eye make-up, it would run into the creases, making my eyes appear droopy. I knew these changed were normal but I just wasn’t ready to go through it yet, the aging process I mean. I still felt young but my appearance made me look tired. I talked with a friend who recently had surgery performed by Dr. Mayer – a much older friend. Her advice was, “Don’t wait until you are old. Have the surgery now, so you can enjoy the results for many years to come.” That was the best advice any friend could have given me. I met with Dr. Mayer and he confirmed that I was at a perfect age for cosmetic surgery. he explained how I would benefit. A facelift would eliminate the sagging and , combined with a forehead lift, open my eyes again. And fat augmentation to the nasolabial folds would put my smile back to its original place. It has now been nine months since I had surgery. The results are fabulous. I still look like myself-just more energized. All my husband can say is “Wow!” and all I can say is that I’d do it all over again. Thank you, Dr. Mayer. I couldn’t be happier.
