The female doctors in Beverly Hills are “a cut above the rest.” That’s the tagline of the reality TV show Dr. 90210 that premiered September 28, 2020 on E! Entertainment. Viewers of Dr. 90210 were introduced to a cast of all-female powerhouse cosmetic surgeons in Beverly Hills — Dr. Michelle Lee, Dr. Cat Begovic, Dr. Kelly Killeen, and Dr. Suzanne Quardt.

According to the show’s first look, “Beverly Hills is the Mecca of plastic surgery, but only 15 percent of plastic surgeons are women.”
That’s the vantage point from which the show approaches the medical art of cosmetic surgery. As one patient puts it, “who knows better than a woman what a woman wants to feel like?” Dr. Michelle Lee agrees, “Absolutely.”
